Making an induction more interesting

I recently read in a Rotary discussion group how to make an induction more interesting in the meeting. Each time the club inducts a new member to the club the President would do 10 pushups for the first person inducted in that year then each additional new member, 5 pushups is added. Do you have any ideas like this to make the induction more interesting?
