District Rotaract Week Community & Vocational Rotaract Service Project
Name of Project: District Rotaract Service Project- Mask & Sanitary Items Sourcing for Servicing Community
Date of Project: 28 February 2020 to end of March 2020
Project Objective & Description: The community and vocational service project was initiated by District Rotaract Committee with an aim to help those cleaners and workers in the street who were shortage of masks and sanitary items during the flight of COVID-19. We sponsored HK$2,000 for this project buying masks, sanitary items and food to the needy. The volunteers had distributed the aforesaid items twice a week to the cleaners, workers and those who lived in the estate with low income.
District Rotaract Committee members are all volunteers for coordination such as collect, pack the masks and sanitary items and eventually deliver the items with other Rotaractors to cleaners and street workers at least twice a week.
All bag of masks had clearly marked down the instruction of how to use it.
Rotaractors had distributed the masks and hand sanitizers to the street workers and cleaners.
Bottles of hand sanitizers ready to pack into the bag and distribute to the less fortunate people in the street.
